Kenny Ramey is a two year Terra Tech employee. Kenny is the Director of Surveying for Terra Tech and as such is responsible for the Surveying Crew in the many different functions that they have. The surveying department may be asked to do location work on a refuse fill today, tommorrow find themselves on a property survey, and the next perform construction stakeout survey for a convenience store. In addition to supervision of the survey crew Kenny finds himself meeting with potential clients, performing deed research, and prepareing property plats. Another big function of Kenny's job is the preparation and submittal of bids for surveying projects. Kenny has a number of years of surveying experuence and as such brings a wealth of knowledge to Terra Tech Engineering.
Kenny attended Hurley High School where he graduated in 1968. Kenny is a registered Land Surveyor in Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia. Kenny has also been certified by the Virginia Department of Transportation in Nuclear Safety os that he may use the nuclear density gauge for compaction testing.
When asked about what he likes most about working at Terra Tech Kenny says that he "likes the relaxed yet professioal atmosphere and the cooperation between the different departments at Terra Tech Engineering." Kenny has to juggle the property surveys that he is dealing with, along with the design/location surveys needed by the civil engineering department, and further with stream location or hollow fill surveys necessary for the mining engineering department.
Keeny and his wife Connie reside at Big Rock, Virginia with their 6 year old daughter Elizabeth. Kenny also has three other children that live outside the home, including 33 year old Christina, 25 year old Aaron and 23 year old Michael. In his spare time Kenny says that he enjoys swimming, fishing, tennis, and camping.
