With the rural areas of the Appalachian Region striving toward the development of the necessary infrastructure to usher in the twenty-first century, the need for innovative thinking exists to assist in the development of this region. This development includes accurate mapping, the extension of public water supplies, sewage relief, and roadway access to major throughways in the area. Terra Tech utilizes the latest in computer technology and GIS software to produce surface modeling, cut and fill volume calculations, pipe network analysis with steady state flow and incremental time flows, water distribution system modeling, highway designs and layout, highway entrance permits and designs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permits, flood zone determinations, concrete testing and inspections, soil testing, nuclear density testing, erosion and sediment control plans, land development, subdivision and construction site design, project and construction management, feasibility studies, foundation designs and analysis, gas well permitting, retaining wall designs, structural designs and many other civil engineering features. Terra Tech also provides construction surveying and grade stake out by in-house staff utilizing both electronic total stations and GPS equipment.
